My hometown....

Hi my name is Carlos and I study public administration in the university of the isthmus in the Ixtepec city campus, I born in Mexico city but I’m raised life in Oaxaca city most of my life, and for this reason, when I’m think in my hometown I think in Oaxaca city. Oaxaca City is the capital of Oaxaca state in Mexico. This city is in a valley and has a beautiful view of the mountains around the city. To arrive to Oaxaca City you can by plane or you can arrive by land transport. Here the native language is Spanish but because the economy relies on tourism most the shops speaks Spanish and English Oaxaca City is a really beautiful place to live because preserve the most part of the colonial buildings, also it has a really cool weather, because the most part of the year it isn’t very cold and the weather is really cool. The amenities of Oaxaca are, an airport, the historical center in the heart of the city, many malls, two bus stations. There is a river, the Atoyac River. There is only one “big” stadium and this is for soccer. If you follow the catholic religion, in Oaxaca there are many really beautiful churches. In this city you can walk in the night on the streets with confidence, because Oaxaca in these days is very safe. When you go to Oaxaca, you should be go in the Guelaguetza season because in this season Oaxaca has a certain glow, the reason of that particular glow is because Oaxaca’s economy relies on tourism. This city has a few problems in the social area, in this area in particular, have social problems in the area because there is disagreement with the government.
